Hi, I'm Randy.
I'm a senior platform engineer and SRE keeping production systems alive on AWS, GCP and Azure. I run Techworld with Randy, and this site is where the labs behind every episode live.
I started out the hard way: racking physical servers and running VMware in a data centre. Since then I've worked across AWS, GCP and Azure with Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD and Datadog, building platforms other engineers deploy on and getting paged when they break.
Most DevOps content stops at slides and diagrams. I wanted the opposite: every episode built on real infrastructure, every command shown with its real output, including the parts that fail. That's what the labs on this site are.
The guides and courses come from the same place: what interviewers actually ask, and the answers that actually get offers. I'm based in Toronto, Ontario, and I teach in English and French.
How this site works
